Art.1 Definition of privacy at Electrify

Have you ordered something from us?  To process your order, we need your details to ensure that you can receive your order.  For example, your name and address are needed to deliver your order.

At Electrify, we make every effort to keep your private data truly private. We take care of it and keep it safe.

What data we ask for and what we use them for is explained in our privacy policy below.

Art.2 Definition of General Data Protection Regulation (also known as "GDPR")

GDPR is an abbreviation that stands for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It refers to data protection. GDPR is the European legislation for processing personal data. The GDPR law defines what is allowed to happen to such data, what procedures are applied and how it is protected.  Your interactions with Electrify are covered by the GDPR Art. 2 Material Scope of GDPR.

Art.3 Data Processing

Electrify processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and this privacy policy. For further information, questions or comments regarding our privacy policy, please contact the Customer Care Hub.

Electrify collects and processes customers' personal data for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency tracking, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).

Electrify only processes personal data.  The processing is done on the basis of art. 6, par. 1 sub b GDPR and is necessary for the conclusion of the agreement between the customer and Electrify.

Art.4 Lawfulness of Processing

Personal data are processed on the basis of Art. 6.1. (a) consent, (b) a necessity for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent) under the General Data Protection Regulation, the customer always has the right to withdraw the consent on the basis of Art. 4 of our privacy policy and Chapter 3 of GDPR.

Art.5 Transfer to Third Parties

If necessary to fulfill the purposes set out, your personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area directly or indirectly connected to Electrify or with any other partner of Electrify;

Electrify guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

Art.6 Retention Period

Personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including accounting requirements).

Art.7 Overview of Data Type, Retention Period and Legal Grounds

**In Belgium, legal retention periods are set to 7 years for data relating to accounting/tax processing.

Art.8 Right of the Data Subject

Customers have the right to consult their personal data at any time and may correct them (or have them corrected) if they are inaccurate or incomplete, have them deleted, have their data processing restricted and object to the processing of relevant personal data.

Moreover, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of his/her personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

In order to exercise the above rights, the customer is asked to:

  • adjust the settings of his/her customer account himself/herself; and/or
  • send an e-mail to the following e-mail address: support@electrify.style
Art.9 Direct Marketing

Customers have the right to oppose, free of charge, any processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes. This can be done by sending an e-mail to support@electrify.style

Intellectual Property and copyright
Art. 10 Intellectual Property Rights

The contents of this site, including brands, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, etc. are protected by intellectual rights and belong to Electrify or entitled third parties.

In case of non-respect and non-removal of unlawful use of photos or content of this site, the infringer risks being written to by a lawyer or attorney, or by the creator/copyright holder him/herself. Electrify makes great efforts so that the information made available is complete, correct, accurate and updated.  Despite these efforts, inaccuracies may occur in the information made available. If the information provided contains errors or if certain information is not available on or via the site, Electrify will make every effort to rectify this as soon as possible.

However, Electrify cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the information on this site.

Art.13 Applicable Law and Competent Courts

Belgian law applies to this site. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the Leuven district have jurisdiction.

Cookies and Analytics
Art.14 The Use of "Cookies"

During a visit to www.electrify.style , "cookies" may be placed on your computer's hard drive. A cookie is a text file placed by a website's server in your computer's browser or on your mobile device when you consult a website. Cookies cannot be used to identify individuals; a cookie can only identify a machine.

'First-party cookies' are technical cookies used by the site visited itself and whose purpose is to make the site function optimally. Example: settings made by the user during previous visits to the site, or even: a pre-filled form with data the user has done during previous visits.

'Third Party cookies' are cookies that do not come from the website itself, but rather from third parties, for example a marketing or advertising plug-in. For example, cookies from Facebook or Google Analytics. For such cookies, the site visitor must first give permission - this can be done via a bar at the bottom or top of the website, referring to this policy, which however does not prevent further browsing on the website.

Art. 15 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies" (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how you use the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. Complaint
Art. 16 Lodge a complaint

In accordance with Article 77 of GDPR, customers have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they consider that the processing of personal data is not lawful. 

This can be done by mail to the Data Protection Authority, Printing Press Street 35, 1000 Brussels, or directly via the website of the Data Protection Authority.
